i give this a 2 star mainly because of a couple reasons.

reason 1.
the instructions that came with the kit is pretty much useless for people who are first time installer. there’s no picture showing where the connectors are and no consise direction of what parts to remove to even get to them.

reason 2.
i purchased the extra long range 1200ft kit and setting up was easy like the paper says BUT this is why im very disappointed. it did not tell you how to operate the remote, whether you sould press 1x or 2x or press+hold etc... ALSO the range on it... i stood maybe 50 ft away and was not able to start it. I even moved the antenna to the front windhsield and still not get anywhere near their “1200ft”. very disappointed.

Installation was straight forward and remote start works exactly as described. The vehicle does shut off when a door is opened as stated on the site. But that doesnt bother me nearly as much as getting into a cold Toyota Avalon. Thank you Accessorides, i love it.

First impression of this kitwas it it was very well thought out. Install was straight forward. However it was my understanding that I could remote start my vehicle then walk up to the vehicle open the vehicle by touching the handle and opening the door without the engine turning off. Additionally when I do open the door I get this very odd clicking and flashing of my clock. This is never happened before. I may return this unit I was expecting to be able to open the door, foot to brake, start button and go.
