First... You should just get this add on with the initial system buy and get the savings that way. What they don't tell you in the fine print is: 1) you don't get the $50/year subscription with refurbished. You might get zero, 20, 200, 340 days but no guarantees of any days. So that is $50 less value. Additionally when I went to install the unit, (which requires taking glovebox down (assuming you already installed the original remote start and realized like I did after the fact you needed more range) took the glove box down and put this Car Link w/ Accessorides adapter cable in (30 min job)

The App said the device was registered to another user and can't be used.

After 5pm there is no one able to answer emails or call at either Accessorides or Car Link (Voxx Brands).

At 8am the next morning Accessorides clicked a few buttons and it worked. But unsettling (and may lead you to have to try and install multiple times if you need your car working daily until you can reach them to reflash it remotely).

As for the product and the App. It is 5 stars. And the support at Accessorides is 5 stars. Just wish they pushed this a little harder (to just get the phone app up front) and not put me in a position where I had to install this device multiple times (it should have been flashed or factory reset before shipment on a refurbished device).
