Here are some of the more common questions we get asked by customers.
Q: Is there a number you can be reached at?
A: Yes! If you run into any issues with the install or have any questions feel free to give us a call at 1-877-472-1002 Mon - Fri 9 - 5 EST and 10-2 on Saturdays. Please note all orders must be placed online via our secure checkout and not over the phone. If you need after hours tech support please contact us via the contact form on the website and we will respond as soon as we can.
Q: I ordered from a different country why was I charged more upon delivery?
A: When checking out from another country you pay a normal shipping fee by us. Upon delivery most countries add a customs/import fee depending on the item/value. We have no control over customs fees and do not know what the amount is. We also do not get that money it is completely separate from us. We do not have any way around the fees unfortunately and can not ship as a "Gift" or "Sample".
Q: I don't see a kit for my car. Can you make one?
A: While we CAN make a kit for cars not listed and often do, it doesn't always make sense if there is not enough demand to make a one-off kit. We are always looking for new products the best thing to do would be to send an email with your year, make, and model and we will get back to you with your options!
Q: What does 3x lock mean?
A: 3x lock means you are able to start the vehicle from your current OEM remote fob by pressing the lock button 3 times. This keeps you from having to carry an extra remote around but the range of the OEM remote isn't always enough for all customers. Our system doesn't add or subtract from the range of the OEM remote so whatever distance you can lock it from now you will be able to start it from.
Q: I live in X country and have the same car as the US. Will your kit work?
A: We wish there was a more clear answer to this question.Some international cars truly are the "same" and our kits would work perfect. Unfortunately a LOT of times the car may look the same but there are differences in the key codes/immobilizers that would cause our kits not to work. If you aren't sure we always recommend contacting us before ordering to verify compatibility.
Q: I want to start with the basic kit. Can I add the phone app or long range remote kit later on?
A: Of course! The phone app or long range remotes can be added at any time. Keep in mind the bundled kits have special pricing so you will save money by adding the longer range options initially versus purchasing them separate later on.
