Works great once you iron out a few kinks. Instructions a little misleading but installation wasn't terribly difficult.

First off, don't look at the picture on the front page of the instructions. There's a giant red arrow pointing to the fuse box. You do NOT need to do anything with the fuse box. Remove the instrument cluster. The 28 and 30 pin wires are plugged into the dash BEHIND the cluster. You 100% have to remove it. YouTube it. Remove 2 screws above instrument cluster, then 4 more once you remove trim. Remove vent to the right of the steering wheel using the plastic tool provided. Unplug 28 and 30 pin from car, and plug those into the harness going to the module, then module harness back into car. Use instruction sheet to program. Instructions tell you to remove the module and add bypass wire, but I didn't have any luck leaving harness plugged in without module. Car stalled. I unplugged harness and set aside for when we got the module back from Accessorides.

Installation was much easier the 2nd time around. Supposed to be plug and play once you get it back, but for some reason I wasn't getting power to the module. I called Tech Support and Mike walked me through the process. Ended up just needing to reset the module by unplugging the 6 pin, and holding the program button while plugging back in the 6 pin and holding program button until red and blue lights were solid. Car starts great from inside my house. Thanks Mike!

2022 Forester Wilderness Remote Start

Very easy install, made a lot easier by taking the gauge cluster out...it isnt difficult just make sure the steering wheel is all the way out and down and make sure to remove the vent to the left of the radio before popping out...also helps to have an OBDII reader to reset if you get a network CEL (happens from unplugging gauge cluster should reset itself automatically but helpful to have reader in case it doesnt)...odd issue with the OEM remote as it would start the car, but then couldnt lock/unlock doors...spoke with Mike in support and he was great, sent me a new harness and the 1 button remotes then walked me through the programming and the remote start works like a charm! If anything the 1 button remote is better because it doesnt make the obnoxious horn honk when it remote starts the way the OEM remote does...In any case a great, inexpensive, not to mention easy way to add remote start that is head and shoulders above the factory Subaru remote start option...again kudos to Mike for all his help

2021 Forester Push to Start

Solid kit with everything you need. Instructions for accessing the immobilizer module could be a little better, you may not have to remove the dash and instrument cluster. If you look straight up from under the dash you can see the module tucked behind the cluster. If you reach up you may be able to reach it depending on your arm length/size to reach the connectors you need. Customer service was great with a question I had and turn around from the stage 2 programing was fast.
