Installation Overview
Install is simple 2 t-harness connections done at the driver under dash area. Only 1 optional wire to hook up for horn honk / panic function.

What a great upgrade to my 2017 Tacoma SR!
My 16-yo boy and I spent about an hour doing this, mostly worrying (unnecessarily, as it turned out) about how to gently remove the under-dash cover (hint: after removing the three fasteners and pulling away the bottom, just give it a good tug downward; pops right out). We were unable to figure out how to safely connect the optional horn wire (just not enough room in that connector for our fingers), but otherwise it was a very simple and straightforward install, and the results are so cool - we can now unlock and enter the car from the passenger side! Fob is a great little size, and effective distances is more than enough.
Might well be the best upgrade I've ever given myself!
Ever since I bought my truck, I’ve been looking for a kit like this. Stumbled across this, ordered it, and after less than 30 minutes from receiving it in the mail, I had keyless entry on my Tacoma. It was super simple and straightforward to install and could Not be any more pleased with this product!
