Remote Start Operation

Operating your remote start is easy. From your factory remote fob press the lock button 3 times to activate the remote start. The parking lights will flash and the vehicle will start and run for the preset time typically 20 minutes. Pressing the lock button 3 more times will shut the vehicle off. Be sure not to press the lock button too fast or too slow the timing may take a few tries to get used to. When approaching the vehicle simple unlock/open the door and then sit down close the door and GO!

3x Lock from OEM Fob Only = No additional remotes to carry simply press LOCK 3 times on your factory remote to activate the remote starter. Need more range? Check out the upgrade options below:

One small flaw

Installed on my TRD Pro with the multi terrain monitor meaning it has the 360 top down camera. Because this piggybacks from what I’m assuming is the ECM and BCM, whenever I’m in reverse, the trajectory guide lines no longer work. The still guide lines still show up. Honestly not that big of a deal and a worthy trade off for a permanent remote start that won’t shut off. Just keep it in mind if you care about the trajectory lines on multi terrain monitor equipped models

‘23 4Runner TRD ORP.

Originally had the N2 Designs unit which worked great but wanted to be able to open the car and go. Especially during the cold Washington winter mornings.

Found this and immediately jumped on the opportunity. I purchased the barebones version as I didn’t need the extra frills.

Install was extremely straight forward and it even comes with colored instructions. The only tools I used were a 10mm socket, wrench, the included trim removal tool, and some wire cutters to cut the included zip ties. The only thing that was missing from the instructions were an additional two 10mm bolts holding the glove box unit, but no biggie. Was obvious what needed to be removed.

Install took about 45 minutes as I also had to remove my previous remote start unit. The harness has plenty of extra slack for your routing pleasure. I ended up placing this unit behind the glove box, right next to all the ECU connectors. There’s a slot just wide enough for the module to fit in with no play and even had little clips that ended up mating to the ridges on the module perfectly.

A little pricey, but definitely worth it so far! 10/10 would recommend!

The instructions were clear, and accurate. Honestly very surprised how well made this harness looks and operates, does exactly what it says and doesn't require you to restart the vehicle when getting in. Wonderful, thank you.

one of a kind

This is the only remote start out there that does not shut off when i get in my 4Runner and i love this already. The youtube video was very helpful and the installation was pretty easy.

IMHO

I bought it because it was the only one I could find that had the Takeover feature. I used the directions and a YouTube video I found. I'm cautious so It took 2 hours but it went well and it works great. The product quality is nice and I am happy with my choice therefore I highly recommend it.
