Compatibility Requirements

2015 - 2016 Honda CR-V
10th letter of your VIN # must be an F, G
Must be PUSH START ignition
Not compatible with normal key ignition start
Vehicle must have power locks / keyless entry
Automatic transmission only.

Install Overview

Plug & play installation done behind the glovebox and one connector at the driver dash headlight switch. 100% Plug & Play installation NO wires need to be cut, spliced, etc.

Please note this installation requires a 2-part programming procedure with copying technology. This means you need to install the module, learn the vehicle, and then remove the module and send it back to us for processing. Use the included prepaid (excluding Canada) return label to send the module to us. We will process the module and then send it back to you to complete the installation. Simple!

System Operation

Pressing the lock button 3 times on your current OEM remote will START the vehicle.

Pressing the lock button 3 times on your current OEM remote will STOP the vehicle.

Vehicle will run for 15 minutes and then shutdown if you don't go out and get in.

After remotely starting, simply get in, turn the key to the ON position, and press the brake to takeover the vehicle. You are then ready to drive no need to shutdown or restart the vehicle.

3x Lock From OEM Fob Only = No additional remotes to carry simply press LOCK 3 times on your factory remote to activate the remote starter.

1-Way 1500ft = Comes with (2) 1-Button remote fobs for up to 1500 ft range + 3x lock from OEM fob will work as well.

2-Way 3000ft = Comes with (1) 1-Button 2-way remote and (1) 1-Button 1-way remote for up to 3000 ft range + 3x lock from OEM fob will work as well.

Works awesome!

While the instructions leave something to be desired, installation was relatively simple for my handy husband, and took less than 90 minutes from start to finish.

The website states that the module needs to be shipped back to the seller for programming, but that is not the case. My husband’s device came with instructions for programming the module over the internet and he was able to get everything programmed, installed, and working within a single morning.

He loves the remote starter. This was an extremely convenient and cost effective option, and I’m so glad we decided to go this route.

He did mention the instructions seem to be the same copy both for vehicles that have a push button start or that have a physical key, and that’s why some parts were unclear. It would have been easier if there were separate versions. Still, he was able to figure out that one of the harnesses weren’t needed for his install. He has the push button start on his 2016 CRV, so he removed the extra wiring harness and everything worked great.

I decided to upgrade his to have the two-way remote so that he can start the car from a distance. It works great to start his car in the parking lot while he is inside his office. Accessorizes saved my Christmas - I wanted to give him a remote starter but couldn’t find an installer locally, and our Best Buy no longer offers it. I think he preferred this because he knows it was done right! Plus, he gets to retain his factory fob.

I will recommend Accessorides to anyone who is handy and is looking for a convenient, cost effective remote start system. I just wish they offered it for my 2019 X3 M40i!
