Works Flawlessly

Was a little skeptical not buying the OEM remote start but figured I would give this a try, and im glad I did. Everything is plug and play and takes minutes to install. The only covers you have to remove are the pieces around the steering column, the big bottom piece above the pedals can stay in place. One thing i noticed though is the car does not beep at you if you try exiting the car with the keys on you while it is running, but does display a message saying key not in car. No big deal it doesn’t really matter.

Super easy install!

For this particular car it was very easy. All the plugs are visible, making it easy to get too. Taking the shroud off of the steering wheel was easy as well. The top shroud pops up and can be push towards the dash display, the bottom shroud can be removed completely. I recommend doing so as it will give you a visual to where you can mount the module this kit comes with. The install took me about 20 minutes, the hardest part is finding the best place to tuck away the three plugs and the module, which took me much longer maybe an hour. I was able to tuck two of the plugs somewhat behind the plastic piece that meets the fabric (next to the gas pedal). The other plug I used a zip tie to another part of the harness to keep further away from the gas pedal. You don't need to do any of that as they are all out of the way but for peace of mind I took the extra step. Now for the module, that wasn't as easy but it could be for you if you take these steps. After you remove the lower shroud of the steering wheel, to the right you will see a metal brace. In this brace there is a little hole in the middle of it. Thread the zip tie through one of the slots of the side of the module then thread it through that hole on the metal piece, pull it tight and you're good to go. Good luck!!!
