Remote Start Operation

Operating your remote start is easy. From your factory remote fob press the lock button 3 times to activate the remote start. The parking lights will flash and the vehicle will start and run for the preset time typically 20 minutes. Pressing the lock button 3 more times will shut the vehicle off. Be sure not to press the lock button too fast or too slow the timing may take a few tries to get used to. When approaching the vehicle simple unlock/open the door and then sit down close the door and GO!

3x Lock from OEM Fob Only = No additional remotes to carry simply press LOCK 3 times on your factory remote to activate the remote starter. Need more range? Check out the upgrade options below:

1-Way 1000 ft = Comes with (2) 1-Button remote fobs for up to 1000 ft range + 3x lock from OEM fob will work as well.

2-Way 2000 ft = Comes with (1) 1-Button 2-way remote fob and (1) 1-Button 1-way for up to 2000 ft range + 3x lock from OEM fob will work as well.

Remote start with takeover

Awesome customer service, worked with me on a return even when I ordered the wrong kit as a gift, when I ordered the correct kit it was easy to install and feels like quality work. Only downside is the pictures included are a bit blurry/confusing but that’s understandable given how tight some of the spaces are.

Quick and simple install. Works great!

Found a YouTube video that helped elaborate on some of the printed instructions provided but otherwise this product is great. Install didn’t take long and it seems to work as promised.

Would recommend

Initial module I received was not programming correctly and remote start didn’t work. Emailed support and received a new module within 3 days that works properly. Good experience and loving the remote start with phone control so far.

Easy install. Watched a YouTube video. So far so good. Time will tell

I would have thought it was factory remote start if I didn't install it myself

From opening the box to putting my tools away took about an hour and a half, and that includes 30 minutes of being very picky about the routing of my wires. The instructions were helpful when it came to disassembly of the glovebox. There is an order to the way you need to take pieces out and the instructions took the guess work out of it. I also appreciated they included a good-quality pry tool for some of the plastic dash pieces. The only tools I needed to supply myself was 10mm socket and extension. Functionality is exactly what you'd expect from the system. The car starts right up after pressing the lock button 3 times. The takeover feature works as described and keeps the engine running after you unlock the door. Everything about the kit integrates with my 2021 4Runner ORP so well you'd think it came with remote start from the factory!
